Department The Office of Faculty Development and Advancement The Vice President serves on the university's senior leadership team and is responsible for guiding the recruitment, retention, development, assessment, and advancement of faculty and their associated academic programs. Although faculty management is distributed on campus, the VP is responsible for leading efforts to ensure the use of best practices in the university's efforts to recruit, support, and retain an outstanding faculty. They will endeavor to develop a collegial culture that enables all faculty members to succeed in research, creative works, teaching, and service.
