Chang's rely on our top-ranked platform which now includes Zenput to manage inventory, staff scheduling, learning and development, food safety, operational tasks and audits.

About the Role

Crunchtime is looking for a senior leader who can successfully champion our products in the marketplace, serve as a critical subject matter expert and create a critical dialogue with our current and future customer base around the value of the platform. This senior strategist will bring deep domain expertise in hospitality operations and technology. S/he will be expected to track the market, build close relationships with the current customers and prospects and identify the strategic priorities for the product development organization. S/he will lead the product management team, working closely with the design and engineering teams to translate the strategic market needs into product features that create value for the customers. This role is integral to the agile development process and beta process with customers, thereby setting expectations with the market on upcoming changes. This leadership role is directly responsible for the alignment of our products and solutions to our current and future market, and for ensuring the long - term viability of our offerings.
What you'll do as a Vice President of Product Management
  • Responsible for the product roadmap and the priority of delivery driving business impact across the entire company
  • Working closely with engineering as engineering is responsible for schedule and delivery, helping engineering make trade-offs where possible
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all products and the integrated platform of Crunchtime
  • Build, develop and nurture the product management department to reach operational excellence and ensure that the team is in alignment with the Crunchtime mission and vision
  • Play a significant role ensuring that the solutions are communicated effectively throughout the organization (patches, release dates, coordination of resources)
  • Drive cross - functional alignment and ensure that overall product strategy comprehensively addresses current business needs and supports innovation and future growth
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure the seamless and ongoing translation and prioritization of market needs into product requirements/PRDs that will drive development of the solution set
  • Build a strong relationship, in partnership with Customer Experience, with our senior customer stakeholders and to ensure an independent feedback loop between product and our customer base
  • Lead processes aimed at capturing marketplace perception of value, including advisory groups in order to contribute to strategy & decisions within specific products
  • Supporting the sales team in late - stage, consultative sales discussions as a subject matter expert in both the strategic vision for our products and the capabilities of the current product and solution set
  • Work with the marketing team to create customer-facing, product specific sales collateral and case studies to identify key learnings
  • Work closely with all internal enablement teams are properly educated on all products and sub-products
  • Developing mature partnerships with teams across the broader organization to identify, scope and triage opportunities for other Crunchtime offerings from the customer base
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology (or equivalent)
  • 7+ years' experience in product management, product strategy, and strategic leadership or related work
  • Management experience of teams of 10 or more
  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS enterprise software
  • Proven ability to quickly understand the verticals and analyze and define product opportunities that provide competitive differentiation
  • A strong understanding of the analytics/business intelligence solutions
  • Familiarity in relevant product management methodologies (i.e. Pragmatic Framework, Agile / Scrum)
  • Highly collaborative and able to build collaboration across multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Strong decision - making capability. Capable of digesting complex information to understand core issues, develop proposed solutions that align with client and market
  • Equally capable of defining strategic imperatives and guiding the overall execution thereof
  • Must be a high - energy self - starter who thrives in entrepreneurial and collaborative environments
  • Familiarity with product idea portals such as AHA
  • Own and support accountability for the product lifecycle
  • Proactively bring new ideas and innovative solutions forth
  • Proficiency with content management systems and third - party systems and platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 15% travel)
  • Strong prioritization and exceptional communication skills
  • Strong team performance management skill
